Graduation Day
A celebration of accomplishments
After passing through security, you will enter the community room for graduation. Browse memories from past graduations and take a seat in the guest area.
The ceremony, which is planned and organized by the trainers, opens with prayer, introduction of the program, and guest speakers. Often a trainer or two offer songs or stories related to the dogs and the program.
Advanced trainers may offer demonstrations and explanations of skills the dogs learn. Pay close attention since these tips will assist adopters as the dogs transition to homes.
Each trainer takes turns presenting their dog’s story and demonstrate commands the dog has learned to the audience.
Announcement of awards and handing out certificates
Don’t forget to ask your dog’s trainers all your questions. They have spent the last 10+ weeks learning all about your dog’s personality and behaviors. Ask while you have the chance! Then it’s time to leave prison and head home with your hound.
